Stunning beaded black silk chiffon gunmetal shimmer dress by Oleg Cassini circa the late 1970s. Famous for his costume designing career which began in the 1940s in Old Hollywood.
The dress features a fitted bodice, with camisole straps, entirely beaded and a high-waisted voluminous midi-length skirt that is beaded in vertical stripes, which layer and ruffle the chiffon to give the illusion of layers. Fully lined in black muslin, with a concealed back zip for fastening.
