Mercedes, came from Argentina to become one of Yves Saint Laurent’s favourite catwalk models during the late 60’s and 70’s . She began a career in jewellery design and between 1982 and 1986 she worked for Karl Lagerfeld creating for Chanel’s couture and ready to wear accessories collections . From 1987 she launched her own line of jewellery . This bangle is a great example of that elegance and fantasy she brought to her designs .
