A stunning Kenzo raw silk stripe shirt from the early 1980’s with a striking mandarin collar . The buttons do up on a diagonal and there is a front pocket on one side . The sides of the shirt have one slits below the waist . Kenos Takada was one of the first wave of Japanese designers to find success in Paris in the 70’s . His shows were famous for performance based shows including dancers , roller skaters, staged nuptials etc . He was credited for taking some of the pomposity out of good clothes and adding a bit of fun . I think this shirt is a good example of that .
