Rare early Issey Miyake blanket waterfall style coat with 2 front pockets . The style is batwing and loose and the coat can be worn in a variety of ways . The fabric is a rough weave in contrast threads with a loose indigo blue hand stitched thread to add contrast and texture that runs along all the seams , including the hem . This is a very early piece as you can see from the label . There is no size or material label , just this cotton tape with Issey Miyake printed on it. Issey is well known for his sculptural and effortless designs , and this is a great example of his early work .
