Pleated empire-line pinafore dress by Alexander McQueen . This is an early label piece . Features rows of darts that start under the bust and finish at the waist-line – where the pleats of the skirt begin . The front of the dress is ‘picked up’ and held with straps that fasten to four D-rings along the front waist-line , these can be pulled tight for a shorter front hem or looser for a longer skirt .
