Chunky cotton lace knit body by Alaia c. 1980s. A lace knit forms the main body and is shaped over the bust for the best fit (Azzedine Alaia was known for creating clothes that fit and celebrate the female form superiorly) The edges are finished with a ruffle and visible drawstring – for tightening around the straps, bust and legs.
