Black linen halter neck backless dress with externalised seams by Maison Margiela. From Spring 2003. The dress converts from a high-waist midi skirt into a dress. The halter neck top has been cut from the front of the skirt, creating a neck hole. When worn, the lining of the skirt is revealed and takes the function of the skirt of the dress. The hem of the lining is left raw and has frayed overtime with wear.
