The fans of the shop came from all over the country on the train to visit the store simply just to hang out . But it wasn’t just a store , it was a department store , with a food department , make up and homeware . The Rolling Stones would play there on a Saturday afternoon. Eventually it closed , because it’s founders, Barbara Hulanicki and her husband , Stephen Fritz-Simon couldn’t compromise anymore to their investors as they grew as a business. This dress is a wonderful example of the era , but of their talent as designers. the style is effortless and timeless, romantic and stylish .
