Gabardine wool swing coat with double breasted A-line cut, by Azzedine Alaia c. 1986. Design features include a wide pointed collar, batwing raglan sleeves, generous pockets cleverly cut to a point and in the back; a storm flap. The coat is generous in width across the chest, and in fullness of it’s skirt but crucially the seaming accentuates the waist.
