A very special piece from the 1979 ‘The future is now’ collection. Beautiful pleated lamé dress with tiered ruffle skirt by Thierry Mugler c.1970s. The dress is constructed from a one shoulder, sleeveless toga style dress, hand-stitched onto a long sleeved top. Features two-piece sleeves with a seam along the top of the arm and the collar piece is stiffened, fastening with small poppers at the back. The skirt is lined with silk and the sleeves have zipped cuffs.
