Asymmetric natural cotton mesh double-breasted lined jacket by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren from the “Nostalgia of Mud” collection. Features an oil slick print cotton lining reflected also in the inside of the shop, which had “a pool of oily green liquid which bubbled primitively away”. The buttons are imperfect circles made from horn.
Originally bought in the “Nostalgia of Mud” shop at St. Christophers place which opened for 1982 – 1983.
